Fabergé unveils restricted version 007 Goldfinger egg objet

Fabergé has launched a restricted version egg objet impressed by Goldfinger (1964) as a part of its ongoing collaboration with the James Bond franchise.
It follows the launch of the Fabergé x 007 egg secure locket with ruby coronary heart shock in October 2024.
The brand new piece is crafted from 18k yellow gold and takes its design cues from the Fort Knox gold depository, a key component of the Goldfinger movie plot.
The entrance contains a six-prong mixture lock with “007” on the centre. Rotating the lock anticlockwise triggers two bolts, permitting the secure door to open – a mechanism Fabergé stated took months to develop and marks a primary for the corporate.
Inside, a stack of gold bars is about amid 140 brilliant-cut yellow diamonds. The gold bars reference the movie’s title track lyric, “He loves solely gold.” The egg is mounted on an 18k white gold stem with 16 spherical brilliant-cut white diamonds, set on a carved black nephrite jadeite base.
The objet joins the broader Goldfinger capsule assortment, which incorporates the sooner egg locket, and enhances different creations within the Fabergé x 007 vary, akin to these commemorating Octopussy (1983).
Designed by Fabergé head of design Liisa Tallgren and overseen by artistic director Josina von dem Bussche-Kessell, the gathering incorporates references to the James Bond movie archive.
The Fabergé x 007 Goldfinger egg objet, restricted to 50 editions, is on the market to pre-order.
