BAJ unveils structural and management modifications to strengthen governance

The British Academy of Jewelry (BAJ) has carried out a sequence of structural and management modifications geared toward strengthening governance, compliance and pupil expertise.

The measures comply with a regulator-advised pause in new pupil recruitment. The academy has since revised its administration framework, operational processes and high quality assurance techniques to help long-term stability and future improvement.

Dr Matthew J. Williamson, a principal fellow of Advance HE, has been appointed principal. He brings greater than 30 years’ expertise in greater training management throughout Russell Group and specialist establishments, and has labored with nationwide high quality enhancement our bodies together with the Scottish Funding Council, GuildHE and Universities UK.

He’s joined by Amir Shaikh, appointed chief working officer after main operational supply and validation at BAJ since 2016.
