NAJ appoints Gary Williams as president

The Nationwide Affiliation of Jewellers (NAJ) has appointed Gary Williams, managing director of Mastermelt, as president for the 2025–2027 time period following its annual basic assembly in Birmingham.
He succeeds Gary Wroe, who has stepped down after holding senior management roles together with chair and president.
Wroe has been co-opted again onto the Nationwide Committee and can proceed supporting the manager group, representing manufacturing members and sustaining the affiliation’s relationship with the British Allied Trades Federation (BATF).
The AGM additionally confirmed the appointment of Mehdi Saadian as vice chair for 2025–2026.
Moreover, Neil Ventura and Kerry Sanders have been elected to the Nationwide Committee, whereas Chris Oliver was re-elected for an extra time period.
