GIA appoints Ram Natarajan to guide international laboratory operations

The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has appointed Sriram Ram Natarajan as senior vice chairman of laboratory operations.
Natarajan, beforehand managing director of GIA India Laboratory Non-public Restricted, started his new position in early August.
He’s now primarily based at GIA’s international headquarters in Carlsbad, California, and experiences to president and chief government Pritesh Patel.
In his new place, Natarajan will oversee the imaginative and prescient and technique for GIA’s international laboratory operations, together with diamond grading and jewelry providers.
Natarajan joined GIA India in 2017 as vice chairman of laboratory operations and have become managing director in 2020.
